The coastline north and east of Bilbao has some wonderful beaches with generous examples of flysch running out to sea, giving endless photographic opportunities. Add in some well-manicured, clean sands and the area is a very rewarding one for those photographers who love coastal work. The flysch offers countless opportunities for more intimate work and I have posted a separate portfolio of some such images in my “Intimate landscapes” stream.
